Fasting has completely changed my life.
Since I've implemented fasting into my daily routine, not only have I been able to easily stick to my diet but i've also experienced several benefits within other aspects of my life.
How I start my fast
My fast begins the moment I wake up. Depending on my will power that day, I'll typically fast for those 1st 4 -6 hours.
Starting your fast from the time you wake up offers a simpler & more enjoyable approach to follow compared to the stress of timing your fast based on when you finished last nights meal.
Benefits

The benefits promoted through fasting include:
Acceleration in fat loss
Improves ones metabolism
If training on an empty stomach, your body is forced to tap into its own fat reserves for energy
Increased cognitive performance
Promotes the growth & survival of neurons
Cleanses your body of toxins & puts cells through a "Survival of the Fittest"
Slows down the aging process
Researchers have found that mice kept in fasted states tend to live longer
Fasting the right way

2 essentials I personally like to have on hand in order to make my fast effortless include:
Coffee
Sparkling water
This POWERFUL combo will not only blunt your appetite, allowing you to feel full while staying in a fasted state, but also increase cognitive focus. I tend to be most productive when I only have caffeine & bubbles in my stomach!
Getting used to fasting everyday typically takes a week.
I highly recommend that you always keep your fridge stocked with these 2 items, that way they're always within reach & you never have to worry about feeling hungry while you fast.
